The project described in this article is the first that AUPP Liger Leadership Academy students have worked on since they completed the Grade 9 Social Science curriculum, which is built on Be the Change. While Liger students have extensive project-based learning experience, the BTC program helped them engage with the ideas of a service project in a more meaningful, impactful, reciprocal way.
